acquisition of the Requa® CharcoCaps® brand of homeopathic and dietary supplement anti-gas products. W. F. Young, Inc. and Requa, Inc. confirm that the sale became effective September 1, 2005.
The specific products purchased are CharcoCaps® Capsules, CharcoCaps® Homeopathic Formula Caplets, Requa® Charcoal Tablets, and CharcoCaps® A-D Anti-Diarrhea products, all of which are distributed nationally by health food retailers, pharmacies, and food accounts. CharcoCaps are recommended by pharmacists and doctors throughout the United States. Requa, Inc. will continue to manufacture and market its No Nix® styptic pencils and Requa® pumice stones.
According to Adam D. Raczkowski, Chief Operating Officer of W. F. Young, Inc., “We are very pleased to add this line of products to our current assortment of Absorbine Jr® pain relieving products. This transaction is just one of the many parts of our strategic plan to broaden our company’s product assortment for our customers.”
