Digital Marketing Manager

The W.F. Young team is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who will lead the development and execution of our digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate must have technical expertise, creativity, leadership and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy Development
- Develop, implement, and present a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business and marketing goals.
- Act as a thought leader by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Continuously improving campaign processes, delivery, and measurement.
Content Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to guide the creation, curation, and distribution of engaging and high-performing content.
- Oversee content across digital channels such as landing pages, websites, digital advertising, social media, and email campaigns.
SEO/SEM Optimization and Website Management:
- Ensure company websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and business goals.
- Optimize website content for search engines and manage PPC campaigns to maximize visibility, traffic, and ROI.
- Analyze and report on website performance metrics.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive community growth and engagement.
- Support the creation of timely and relevant content, targeting strategies, and influencer partnerships to maximize return on ad spend.
Digital Advertising:
- Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns for trade and consumer audiences.
- Track campaign performance, manage budgets, and report on ROI.
- Assist the eCommerce team with account-based digital advertising programs, such as Amazon and retailer digital media networks.
Email Marketing:
- Plan and execute targeted email campaigns to drive product awareness, education, and engagement.
- Support promotional efforts and strengthen brand loyalty through effective email strategies.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor digital marketing and website performance to identify trends and insights.
- Create detailed performance reports and adjust strategies using a test-and-optimize approach.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with marketing, eCommerce, and sales teams, as well as external agencies, to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across platforms.
Budget Management:
- Develop, manage, and allocate the digital marketing budget efficiently.
- Analyze spending to ensure a strong return on investment and optimize resources.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, consumer packaged goods experience preferred. Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, etc.) and a passion for learning and staying ahead of trends.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and analytics tools.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, make data-driven decisions, and expertise in A/B testing.
- Experience managing multiple websites and optimizing performance on a Shopify platform.
- Strong budgeting skills – forecasting, tracking, adjusting, and reporting ROI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the desire to be a part of a team.
- Ability to manage and develop direct reports.
- Successful track record of managing agency partners.

The W.F. Young team is seeking a Financial Analyst – Level I who will be responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to provide insights and recommendations that guide day-to-day business decisions and longer-term investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Data Analysis and Reporting
- Review Divisional and Brand Financial Reports monthly.
- Prepare and publish Key Customer Account profit/loss statements.
- Maintain and enhance financial models to analyze proposed business scenarios, new product launches, as well as develop what-if and sensitivity financial scenarios.
- Provide real-time gross profit product categories and products.
- Analyze and report findings monthly on gross profit trends for divisions, channels, major customers, product categories and individual products.
- Evaluate ROI for new products, promotional activities and marketing expenditure.
Budget & Forecast Preparation
- Assist managers with budgeting and forecasting efforts by helping establish effective ways to plan and estimate spending needs.
- Run analysis on submitted budgets and forecasts to identify potential errors or missed information.
- Verify variable spending and review budget methodology for accuracy/dependency.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with accounting, sales, operations, and innovation teams to align financial goals and strategies.
- Develop tools and dashboards to improve transparency and accuracy in financial tracking and reporting.
- Work with team to identify cost savings opportunities.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Create tools for better financial decision-making, such as cost analysis frameworks and performance metrics.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
- 2+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and budget management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, databases and financial software with experience of ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent reporting, communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders.
- Experience with promotional and marketing spend analysis.
- Demonstrated success in implementing financial planning tools and dashboards.
- Knowledge of gross margin analysis and financial modeling for new product launches.

Quality Compliance & Audit Specialist

The W.F. Young team is seeking a Quality Compliance & Audit Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards across the company’s animal care products in a virtual manufacturing environment, with a focus on auditing contract manufacturers to meet company quality and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Manufacturer Auditing & Compliance
- Conduct regular & comprehensive audits of contract manufacturing facilities to ensure adherence to quality, regulatory, and company standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers to foster transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Document audit findings, implement corrective actions, and provide quality guidance to ensure compliance and best practices.
Quality Control & Assurance
- Develop, implement, and audit SOPs, validation systems, and quality procedures for consistent product compliance.
- Oversee product stability studies, monitor contract manufacturers’ adherence to specifications, and ensure consistent quality in formulations and packaging.
- Approve changes in raw materials, suppliers, and product specifications to align with sourcing and quality assurance strategies.
- Ensure quality procedures, manufacturing instructions, and resource documentation comply with FSMA, HACCP, and NASC standards.
Innovation & Stage-Gate Process Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards throughout new product development, providing input during ideation, scoping, and business case stages.
- Collaborate with the innovation team to develop testing protocols and validation criteria for new product formulations.
- Review technical feasibility assessments, product specifications, and testing protocols to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality testing and validation activities for prototypes and new product launches, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions during the testing/validation phase and provide input for gate review decision-making.
Technical Assessment & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Investigate and resolve product quality issues, conduct competitive analysis, and ensure regulatory compliance with advertising claims.
- Work with Supply Chain, Regulatory, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to support procurement, documentation, and technical inquiries.
External Relations
- Represent the company in industry and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with manufacturing regulations.
- Collaborate with government and research organizations to stay informed on evolving industry standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the science or engineering field with a minimum of 3 years’ quality experience in the animal health or related industry required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on auditing contract manufacturing facilities (animal care/health industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, AAFCO, NASC, FSMA, and quality management systems in a contract manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with Stage-Gate product development, including ideation, scoping, and product validation in regulated industries.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate quality standards into the product innovation process, balancing creativity with compliance.
- Proficient in document and change control systems and food safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in formulation chemistry and troubleshooting for animal care products.
- Expertise in auditing, quality control, and virtual manufacturing with a collaborative, cross-functional approach.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills, particularly in quality assurance, project management, sourcing, and innovation.
- Ability to travel regularly to contract manufacturing sites.
