West Palm Beach, FL – Dressage rider Jennifer Baumert’s first time showing the Hanoverian mare Wynn Velten turned into a ride into the winner’s circle during the Wellington Classic Spring Challenge CDI. Baumert and Wynn Velten, owned by Irma Beck-Montgomery of Aiken, South Carolina, won the USEF Fourth Level Test One sponsored by Absorbine® Myoplast®.
Baumert, of Columbus, North Carolina, was pleased with her winning score of 68.605% on the nine-year-old mare and believes she will have a promising partnership with Wynn Velten. "She is really a fun horse with lots of energy and personality. I would describe her as a sassy workaholic," Baumert said.
Baumert and Wynn Velten rode away with the Absorbine Myoplast basket stuffed full of goodies from Absorbine. "I love and use many of the Absorbine products," Baumert said, adding that she was very thankful that her class was sponsored by Absorbine.
Baumert wasn’t the only rider at the Wellington Classic Spring Challenge, held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, to ride away with Absorbine products. Veteran competitor Anne Gribbons won the Absorbine Myoplast sponsored FEI Intermediaire class aboard her Swedish Warmblood Alazan.
Gribbons, of Chauluota, Florida, and her handsome 14-year-old chestnut gelding earned a score of 68.421%. "He gave me a fine ride," Gribbons said, adding that she was thrilled with her Absorbine products. "I am so grateful to the sponsors. They really make the shows something special for competitors."
