Young, a family-owned company that has been providing high-quality and trusted animal health and wellness products for over 130 years, announced that it has earned accreditation from the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC). This significant achievement emphasizes W.F. Young’s dedication to advancing sustainability within the pet industry.

The Pet Sustainability Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating environmental and social sustainability in the pet industry. Each year, it awards accreditation to companies that demonstrate exceptional performance in sustainability metrics. W.F. Young’s accreditation highlights the company’s efforts to reduce environmental impact, promote social responsibility and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

W.F. Young is committed to reducing its environmental impact by transforming its processes, products and use of raw materials as it builds its role as industry leaders in sustainability. The company offers five USDA Certified Organic products made with sustainably harvested ingredients and uses up to 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in its packaging. To-date, over 858K-lbs of CO2 emissions have been saved through the use of solar power at W.F. Young’s headquarters, which is equivalent to planting 6,484 trees each year.
